    To Use:  

    1. Remove kit from storage bag or sling kit 
    2. Don safety gloves 
    3. Place PED in containment bag below interior baffles 
    4. Pull red tab marked “PULL” to expose hook & loop 
    5. Press along seam to seal hook & loop closure 
    6. Close zipper tightly against stopper to seal bag

     


    WHAT MAKES HOT-STOP ‘L’ SPECIAL 

    The HOT-STOP® ’L’ bags have undergone extensive engineering, and testing. Each HOT-STOP ‘L’ product has achieved FIREPROOF status by an FAA-Registered laboratory and are made up of multiple durable fabrics with a felt inner core that has a 3200º F melting point. This core is sandwiched between two outer layers that have a 2080º F melting point and are proven to absorb energy and fire while the Zero Tolerance, Zero Smoke military grade zipper technology adds an airtight layer of protection to eliminate the escape of smoke, shrapnel from exploding items, sparks, gases, carcinogens, and other toxic emissions.

    Unlike other products on the market, the HOT-STOP ‘L’ does not require recertification. Only a visual calendar inspection is needed, making this product ideal if you are on a SMS program.  The HOT-STOP ‘L’ is the only fireproof product of its type. EMF shielding (Faraday cage) can be added to any of these fire containment bags upon request.

    STORAGE

    Easy to store in cockpit or cabin. Pliable firefighting materials make the lightweight bag (4-8 lbs.) easy to fold and store in confined spaces. It is important to always store the bag unzipped and ready to deploy. 

    DEPLOYMENT

    HOT-STOP ‘L’ is simple and intuitive to deploy, no matter which size you choose. It only takes 5-6 easy steps. No water is required, but HOT-STOP ‘L’ allows the use of water if aircraft operators choose to comply with SAFO FAA recommendations from 2009. 

    SHELF LIFE -MAINTENANCE INSPECTION

    Firefighting materials engineered into HOT-STOP ‘L’ products provide an unhindered shelf life and require minimal maintenance that consists of periodic visual inspection.  

    CARRY-ON

    HOT-STOP is considered Carry-On Emergency Safety Equipment for aircraft. 

    WARRANTY
